Bring new technologies to citizens so that they integrate this into their daily tasks.
This is the objective of the Annual Forum of the Information Society which is celebrating its tenth year and takes place in six municipalities in the region of Murcia.
Los Alcazares hosts for the first time from Thursday, and until next Sunday, the various technology demonstrations workshops have been located in the social club of the Torre del Rame.
From ten in the morning (eleven in the case of the weekend) and up to nine in the evening, except the period of rest of the monitors from 14 to 17 hours, anyone interested in discovering how technologies are being introduced our lives can come to different workshops SICARM.
The classroom of the future, the secrets of robotics, services and Internet security, 3D images and digital television are some of the workshops in which citizens will participate.
Nearly 600 students from five schools in the city guided tours during school hours, and other local groups like the Association of Widows who have already expressed interest in participating in the forum.
This morning, Mayor Gil Encarna and general director of Telecommunications and Information l, Pedro Garcia Diego inaugurated this morning the technology demonstrations.
The Mayor stressed the interest of the various schools to participate in various workshops and has called on the Ministry of Economy and Finance to "take into account our municipality to carry out successive editions of this forum."
