The general director of the Physical Activity and Sport, Antonio Penalver (2i), this morning the Spain Championship Taekwondo University, to be held on the 17th and 18 May at the High Performance Centre 'Infanta Cristina'.
In the presentation, which was also attended by the Mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida (2d), the president of the Taekwondo Federation of the Region of Murcia, Jose Antonio Solano (1d), and the Vice Chancellor for Student and University Extension Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Francisco Martin (1i), the CEO said the event is "the best combat sports shows that puedem see in the world right now."
Thus, the CAR Infanta Cristina will host the two days to a total of 171 athletes representing more than thirty Spanish universities, among which six students from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
It is also confirmed the presence of two Olympic medalists, Joel Fernandez and Nicolas Garcia, gold and silver in London 2012, respectively.
