UPyD requires the mayor of Los Alcazares to reconsider its position regarding the evacuation of homes in the Civil Guards (20/04/2012)

UPyD Councilman in the City of Palaces, Mario Gomez Figal and the regional coordinator, Rafael Sanchez, call the mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, to reconsider its position on the eviction of the homes of policemen, after Mayor's intention to break the letter of intent and not continue to maintain the five homes that hitherto were financing the Civil Guard.

The decision was made after meeting with the government delegate, Joaquin Bascuñana and with Colonel Command chief, Jose Ortega Rodriguez, on January 31, and whose agreement is publicly reported March 26 Alejandro Garcia, commander of the Civil Guard post.

Gomez has said that analyzing the budget "housing leases civil guard" with an amount of 20 774, 80 euros for 2012, presented in full in December 2011, "and hinted it intends to delete the resources allocated to the rental of the homes. "

The statement of intent picked the agreement signed on May 17, 2007 between the Ministry of Interior (General Directorate of Police and Civil Guard) and the City of Palaces, to create a post of the Guardia Civil and temporarily, a Citizens Advice Bureau, as well as free transfer of municipal facilities called Comprehensive Security Center.

The aim was that the Civil Guard could locate his position there until it is concluded the construction of new headquarters, as the town of Los Alcazares has no presence Forces of State Security.

The City Council agreed to provide, free of charge, the five houses to the Civil Guard maintain its presence in Los Alcazares.

Mario Gomez Figal recalled the UPyD questions on that topic in the plenary of the City of Palaces, "We support the Civil Guard in order to keep the posts and claim that the agreements are carried to fruition."

Gomez requested that the City negotiate with homeowners to adjust downward the price of rental housing, so that the civil guards to continue occupying them.

"From UPyD expect the PP government reconsider and come to an agreement to readjust prices and not cause his departure." Is complete.
