The intention of the Municipal Government is to check if a new general cadastral valuation can translate into a lower IBI receipt for residents.Last week the Mayor of Los Alcázares, Mario Cervera, participated in a meeting with the Regional Management of Cadastre of the Region of Murcia, Justo A.
Parejo Pablos, with the aim of resolving various issues related to the town.It is worth highlighting the intention of the Municipal Government of the Los Alcázares City Council to launch a new general cadastral assessment of the town with the aim of reducing the receipt of the IBI contribution to the Alcazareños.
To this end, the Cadastre will prepare a pre-report where, in general, it will be collected if the cadastral units of Los Alcázares have seen their value increase even more compared to the market after the last cadastral valuation carried out in 2012 and that supposed a great increase in value and therefore in the IBI receipts to the residents of Los Alcázares. If approved by the Municipal Government of the Los Alcázares City Council, this new cadastral assessment would come into force for the year 2022.
As explained by the Mayor, Mario Cervera, "it is a general request from residents, especially after the floods, that seeks to help family economies in these difficult times ".In this sense, Cervera added, "we are committed to reducing the fiscal pressure to which the residents of Los Alcázares are subjected and steps like these show that we are complying, especially in one of the taxes that residents pay the most."Once we review the pre-report, I will send it to all groups with representation in the Los Alcázares City Council to make the decision." Mario Cervera has finished.
