And there are also stories that, because they seem small, have often been ignored.
'A story, a song' tries to bring songs to those stories and fill those songs with stories. Zahara returns to # 0 to lead this new format that will combine testimonials, music, emotions and luxury collaborations to show how songs and personal stories almost always go hand in hand. Each of the four episodes will deal with themes as universal as they are local: ecological disasters and climate change, love of the land and roots or emptied Spain.
The first program was recorded in the municipality of Nigrán (Pontevedra), which in 2017 was devastated by fires.
Zahara has been able to talk with her neighbors about the terrible consequences of the fire, but also about the solidarity or heroism of the people.
In return, she has given them her songs.
In addition, this first program closes with a concert by the artist from Coruña, Xoel López, in which the illustrious Vigo neighbor Iván Ferreiro and Zahara herself also participate. The following episodes will be recorded over the next few weeks in Los Alcázares (Murcia) and Cuevas de Cañart (Teruel), where Zahara will have the collaboration of the group Viva Sweden and the singer-songwriter Guitarricadelafuente respectively.
In beda (Jaén), her hometown, she will meet Martí Perarnau to play the songs of Juno, their joint project, for the first time. 'A story, a song' is an original project by Movistar + that will be seen very soon on # 0 (dial 7). #AHistoryUnaSong
