Eighty-six businesses in Los Alcázares become a Safe Tourist Destination (20/07/2020)

There are many actions that the Los Alcázares City Council is implementing to overcome as soon as possible the health crisis caused by COVID-19, and its feared consequences. Undoubtedly, one of the consequences that is most talked about is the economic repercussion that this crisis has generated.

For this reason, the alcazareño consistory presented the campaign "Los Alcázares, Safe Tourist Destination" before the end of the Alarm State, an image that aims to bring together the largest number of businesses related to tourism, under the umbrella of sanitary controls and compliance of the measures according to Royal Decree, to guarantee security in establishments, and thus, stimulate both consumption and tourism in the municipality. After the launch of this initiative from the Department of Tourism, which consists of several actions, in distributing PPE`s, protective partitions and the placement of a badge that indicates that said premises comply with the necessary sanitary controls, there are 86 businesses that They have joined the campaign, and therefore are developing their activity with the image of Los "Alcázares, Safe Tourist Destination" (DTS). María José Díaz Aragón, Councilor for Tourism of the municipality has declared in this regard that "from the City Council we are very happy about the great acceptance that this campaign is having from the businesses of the tourism and hospitality sector of the municipality, since it is a campaign that guarantees compliance with the prevention measures of COVID 19, it being important to highlight that in the inspections carried out by an external company the result is being very satisfactory, and that the member establishments are a guarantee of compliance with the security protocols.
