The Civil Guard arrests a young man dedicated to committing scams in Los Alcázares (01/07/2020)

| He had three judicial requisitions and an order to enter prison | He took advantage of the confinement of the alarm state to commit scams through the internet So far, the alleged authorship of the crimes of fraud, sexual assault, gender violence and violation of sentence is attributed to him Another person has been investigated as a co-author on four fraud crimes The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has carried out the 'Marciruelo' operation, to investigate a series of scams committed against women in various locations in the Mar Menor region, which has resulted in the identification, location and arrest of their alleged author. The detainee is attributed with the alleged authorship of the crimes of fraud (4), sexual assault, gender violence and violation of sentence.

In addition, there were three judicial arrest warrants and one judicial arrest warrant.

During the development of the operation, the Civil Guard has investigated a woman as a co-author in the crimes of fraud. Members of the Benemérita Judicial Police opened the operation a few months ago, following the presentation of a complaint in a police station of the National Police Force, in which the alleged commission of a crime of sexual assault was reported. The victim stated that the episode took place with a previous contact through a popular social network of contacts and culminated in the sexual assault in Los Alcázares during one of the dates.

Apparently, after completing the crime, its author left the victim at the door of a local public establishment. As a result of the investigation carried out, the civil guards managed to identify a young man who, presumably, was behind the authors of the investigated events. In addition, it was found that there were three judicial arrest warrants and one judicial arrest warrant, as well as an alleged link to various fraud crimes and other complaints that are still being analyzed and that could lead to the attribution of the authorship of new crimes. After obtaining sufficient evidence, the Civil Guard established a search device on the suspect, who has remained unaccounted for since last year.

The device developed allowed verifying that the alleged perpetrator of the events was currently residing in a rental house in the urban area of ??Los Alcázares and that, apparently, aware of the pending cases with the administration of justice, he was hiding in the interior of the property. During his self-confinement he left the home only in cases of need, although it has been verified that during the period of his evasion to justice he was in towns of Murcia and Almería, where he was able to exert his criminal influence on several people. Once the suspect was located, the Civil Guard went to arrest him but he entrenched himself in the house, ignoring the agents' recommendations for eight hours.

Finally, and after establishing a police fence around the property, the judicial authority was asked for an entry and search warrant, which culminated in his arrest, as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of sexual assault, swindling, mistreatment in the family and brokenness.

of sentence. The detention also allowed the resolution of three judicial claims for arrest and another for admission to prison that were in force on the arrested person. In addition to the arrest of the alleged perpetrator, the Civil Guard has also investigated a woman, as the alleged co-author of four fraud crimes. From the investigation, it appears that the now detainee, allegedly, used social networks to contact women and establish a romantic relationship with them in order to obtain an economic benefit, either by requesting borrowed cash or, failing that, access to their personal data and bank accounts through online banking, all through deception and exercising some manipulation on them taking advantage of the affective bond previously created. While regulated confinement was active in the recent state of alarm, it took advantage of the notable demand for certain products to create false advertisements on second-hand effects sales portals, with the intention of defrauding potential buyers.

So far, four fraud crimes with victims located in different provinces have been cleared up. The Civil Guard continues with the open investigation, not ruling out the connection of the now detained with the authorship of more criminal acts. The arrested, the investigated and the proceedings investigated have been placed at the disposal of the Investigating Court of San Javier (Murcia), which has ordered the detainee to enter prison.
