The City Council of Los Alcázares gives with this project the response that the residents of the municipality have been waiting for years, since it is a work in one of the streets that supports the most traffic in the town, and that connects with services and important areas . The work belongs to the Works and Services Plan (POS) and its execution was approved in the past by a majority. It consists of the security of the sidewalk and asphalt on Jaén street, located in the perimeter area of ??the Sports Center.

It is a ring road that connects Avenida Trece de Octubre with El Barrio de La Dorada and Avenida Muñoz Zambudio, with the medical office towards Avenida de la Libertad.

This road supports a large amount of traffic because it in turn gives to the Institute and is a historical demand of the neighbors, "says the councilor for works Pedro J.

Sánchez. In addition to the replacement of sidewalks and the asphalt of the road, the electric towers in that area will be buried, parking areas will be created and the road that until now does not have it will be illuminated.

Thanks to this work, it will be possible to circulate on the road in both directions. On the other hand, the consistory emphasizes that the sidewalks will be paved, to facilitate water filtrations. Mayor Mario Pérez Cevera has said that "this work will also entail the adaptation of the future Sports Center Fairground, so that in addition to providing a solution to a street with many problems, we take advantage of the resources it offers to improve other services that are also necessary." The duration of the work is estimated at three months.
