The general director of the Mar Menor, Fulgencio Perona, today received in the Regional Park of Las Salinas and Arenales in San Pedro del Pinatar 40 students in fifth grade of the 'Welcome Conejero' school, of Los Alcázares, who participated in a visit guided within the program of events of the Day of the Wetlands 2020.
Perona explained that this school has been given preference "because of the situation they are living in that town, due to the floods they have suffered."
The activity consisted of a route called 'Between two waters', which begins at the Visitor Center 'Las Salinas' and, after a bus transfer to the Mill of Quentin, a walking route is made, round trip, to the mill of La Calcetera.
The Information Service staff shows the importance of wetlands for life through dynamics, experiments and stories with which their environmental and landscape values ​​are made known, fostering responsible attitudes that help their conservation.
