All students of the IES Antonio Menárguez Costa de Los Alcázares will return to the classroom this week.
ESO third and fourth students will join tomorrow and first and second students will do so on Tuesday.
They join the high school and FP students who have already resumed the school year last week.
In total, 643 ESO students return to the classroom this week, which will be added to the 184 high school students and the 38 FP students.
The Minister of Education highlighted the joint work of administrations and the involvement of the educational community, volunteers and companies in "the rapid return to their centers of all students."
After the damages that the institute suffered during the cold drop episode, the Ministry has carried out different actions to put the center back into operation.
The interventions that have been carried out are the emptying of the basement, sanitary forging chambers and flooded elevator shafts, the cleaning of the exterior areas, the debris of the shattered fence, the execution of the provisional fencing and also provisional power lines to service the upper floors, the review of sanitation clogged by mud, as well as the boiler and the oil tank.
Likewise, the affected interior pavement areas have been debrided.
With the incorporation into its center of the students of the Los Alcázares Institute, all the students of the municipality will have resumed the school year, since the students of the schools returned to the classrooms last Monday, September 23.
