The delivery of shipments has begun to be provided with four-wheel vehicles
Los Alcázares, September 18, 2019.- Correos has re-established its service in the Los Alcázares office after the severe floods suffered last week in this Murcian municipality.
Both the customer service at the office located on Avenida Libertad, 77 and the delivery are being provided since yesterday at the last minute.
Given the difficulties in providing the service, the distribution with four-wheel vehicles has been reinforced.
As the streets of the municipality recover normalcy, the distribution with cars and motorcycles will resume, as is usual in this municipality.
During these days the mail that is impossible to deliver due to access difficulties may be picked up by its recipients in the office that is already open at its usual schedule from 08.30 to 14.30.
From here will be made the admission of shipments and delivery of all those products that have not been delivered to their recipients.
Correos has performed during these days cleaning, maintenance and replacement of furniture, computers and other computer elements affected by water to maintain the quality of service and return this office to normal after the storm.
The postal company appreciates the collaboration provided by all its workers, not only in Los Alcázares but in all those municipalities directly or indirectly affected by the floods.
Correos also wants to thank the rest of its employees for the support shown at the moment and for their immense vocation of public service.
