The mayor of Los Alcazares, Encarna Gil and the Councillor of Tourism and Beaches, Isabel Montesinos, together with the Councillor for the Environment, Manuel Sevilla have made this morning the symbolic raising of a flag of quality Q that have the municipality's beaches specifically, the beach in Los Narejos.
For the second consecutive year, Los Alcazares back to win the title of being the only municipality in Spain, which owns all of its beaches awarded with the Q for Quality awarded by the Institute for Quality Tourism in Spain (ICTE).
There are six beaches with this recognition (Carrión, La Concha, Manzanares, El Espejo, Los Narejos and Las Palmeras) which is compounded by the Network Information Service.
The Mayor has stressed that this recognition motivated by the "coordinated work of many councils, among which are found in both the Tourism and Beaches, Public Roads, Interior ... doing a thorough job of conditioning, cleaning and maintenance for 365 days year for residents and tourists are guaranteed excellent conditions and services when choosing our beaches. "
For his part, Councillor Isabel Montesinos recalled that "this year we decided to raise its game by obtaining quality Q that the Blue Flags, as they remain a strong and comprehensive criteria for obtaining it.
In this audit controls are conducted on water quality, security, surveillance, quality of the sand and all the elements of entertainment.
The Council's decision has been shared by the consistory of San Javier and San Pedro del Pinatar, belonging to the Mar Menor Tourist Commonwealth that have not submitted the application files for the Blue Flag.
