For the fourth consecutive year the Department of Youth, in collaboration with the Department of Social Services has launched a campaign to collect toys for needy families in the municipality.
The "IV Christmas Solidarity" project aims to provide toys to underprivileged children at this time.
Since last November 27, have been established in the municipality different points for delivering toys, finding these in the City of Los Alcazares, the Center for Social and Women and Sports Center "La Torre".
Delivery points will also be different schools, where their youth correspondents liaise between children who donate toys and those who receive.
As is customary, the mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, and the other councilors of the government team, participated this morning in the campaign and deposited their gifts for the little ones.
Councilman Youth and Social Services, Francisco Mendez, explained that "the purpose of this campaign is that no child is left without the municipality a toy at this time approaching".
The deadline for depositing toys in different delivery points will be open until December 23.
