From 1 to 10 October, the Municipal Aeronautical Museum will host the exhibition of plastic modeling Century of the First World War, organized by the Association of Modalism Ilicitana Static (AIME), LA Ecocultural Association and the Department of Culture of the City of Los Palaces.
In it, you will see more than forty models of various aircraft that participated in this contest, the first in which planes were used in strike missions, defense and recognition;
the first in history to also convert the air into a "battlefield"
This exhibition will feature some of the model airplanes of the great aviation aces like the Red Baron Fokker DR.1;
De Havilland, Sopwith, Vickers, Bristol UK;
Moreano Saulnier, Spad, French Salmson ...
Also on Thursday, 2, and Friday, October 3, from 17.30 'to 19.30' will be held in the courtyard of the Museo Municipal Aeronautical model making workshop, taught by Ilicitana Association Modalism Static (AIME)
The workshop fee is 3 €, includes a model of a Fokker DR.1 and places are limited, so registration and information may contact the Department of Culture at: cultura@losalcazares.es and 968 58 21 07.
