The Minister of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, Juan Carlos Ruiz, today, along with the mayors of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, and Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, poster 43rd Week Huerta and Sea of ​​Los Alcazares, to be held in the municipality marmenorense from 14 to 23 August.

During the ceremony, the Minister Ruiz stressed the importance of the Week of the Garden and the Sea for the Region of Murcia, and that "it is an event that attracts over 200,000 people, representing six times the population of the municipality" and added that "we must follow the example of this initiative because it is our advantage to create wealth and the Region of Murcia is known."

Ruiz said the effort of the tourism sector in the town of Los Alcazares which translates into an increase of 14 percent in the hospitality industry in 2013 over the previous year.
