The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, met today at the Palacio de San Esteban with the mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida, to learn first hand the demands of the citizens of the municipality, as well as the needs in health , education and social policy, among others.
The state of the Mar Menor occupied much of the time of this meeting.
Both leaders reinforced their commitment to work intensively to improve the situation of the salt lake.
Likewise, the regional government and the City Council of Los Alcázares continue to collaborate to solve as soon as possible the damages caused by heavy rains last December.
In sports, the mayor of Los Alcázares moved the president the need to enhance the practice of sport in the high performance center, CAR, of this municipality, which would also contribute to the deseasonalization in the use of these facilities.
