A new commercial strategy will oxygenate the business fabric of Los Alcázares (16/06/2017)

The Mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida, Councilor for Trade, Francisco Méndez and José David Pérez, representative of the Consultant who has carried out the Local Trade Promotion Plan, have presented the results of the Plan and the actions to be carried out Out to strengthen small business in the municipality.

The Department of Commerce of the City of Los Alcázares has commissioned this Strategic Study, with the objective of implementing a set of measures to modify current consumption habits, and that both alcazareños and visitors, make their purchases in the municipality.

Among the proposed measures is the creation of an Open Shopping Center, to increase the attractiveness of the commercial environment, to facilitate parking, to expand the use of new technologies, to increase children's zones, to promote mobility with adjoining territories by urban bus Or cycle lane, establish an agenda of events in the municipality, as well as reach agreements between merchants and hoteliers to create promotional packages.

Of the first actions that will be carried out, are the calendar of annual activities, which will have as a purpose to generate a commercial and leisure offer throughout the year.

For example, in the winter months, it is proposed to carry out activities aimed at the foreign public, who are on vacation at those dates.

In the following months we will have FoodTrucks, Employment Forums, European Day, BioWeekend or healthy weekend and night markets, among others.

For the summer months, July and August, Tuesdays will be dedicated to children, with the aim that the consumer will know that that day of the week, in Los Alcázares can find children's entertainment.

Likewise, Thursdays will be dedicated to Music, Art and Culture in the street.

The presentation of this Plan, which involved the participation of merchants, associations and neighbors that bring together the social and business fabric of the municipality, had the approval of all of them, in a study that showed weaknesses, Strengths and opportunities of the municipality.
