More than 1,000 volunteers from all over the region participated today in Los Alcázares in a solidarity day to help local residents clean and adapt housing, facilities and streets of the municipality, as well as support families who have been affected by the Heavy rains recorded in the past days.

The Minister of Development and Infrastructures, Pedro Rivera, thanked the "immediate and altruistic response of young volunteers from associations and youth groups throughout the Region, as well as all those who have joined in a solidarity and disinterested way to This meeting, especially on the eve of a date as marked and familiar as Christmas Eve.

Volunteers should wear work clothes and water boots.

The Volunteer Office is open every day in the City Hall to attend requests for collaboration in the cleaning and adaptation of facilities.
