The Autonomous Community thanked today the solidarity shown by the municipalities of the Region with the municipality of Los Alcázares, before the request to send different material to help the recovery of normality in the locality.
Presidential adviser María Dolores Pagán explained that at the beginning of this week she contacted the town councils, at the request of the mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, to request certain means, essential to contribute to the recovery of The town, which was completely flooded with rains last weekend.
"From the Community we have coordinated the cooperation with said municipality on the occasion of the recent floods, so that it was attended to the most necessary and was done in an orderly way," explained the minister.
Specifically, Pagán said that Los Alcázares needed the most to get tankers with cistern and pumps with generator for the bilge of houses and flooded low.
"The response of the different municipalities did not wait, giving a good example of the solidarity and affection of all those who needed it most in these difficult moments," concluded the Minister of Presidency.
