The Councilor for Agriculture of the City of Lorca, Antonio Navarro, said that from Lorca about two tons of tomatoes have been donated to the Consistory of Los Alcázares to be distributed among families affected by floods last September.
The mayor of Agriculture has explained that the idea came from the Ramonete Neighbors Association during the celebration of their holidays and that "the act of delivery of this merchandise took place this past Saturday."

Almost 600 families had to be relocated after the floods of September 13, today six families remain outside their homes and remain housed in the La Minería Apartments, the same sources added.
