More than 400 people clothe Mario Cervera in his presentation as candidate for mayor of Los Alcázares (24/02/2019)

Last Friday night took place in the Plenary Hall of the City Council of Los Alcázares the presentation act as a candidate for Mayor, Mario Cervera, which counted on the interventions of the current Government Delegate and candidate for the Presidency of the Region of Murcia, Diego Conesa;

and the Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Oliver.

The event, which was attended by more than four hundred neighbors, also counted with the presence of colleagues from other municipalities, regional deputies, the national deputy Maria Gonzalez Veracruz, Senator Juan Luis Soto Burillo;

as well as prominent members of the Regional Executive such as the Deputy Secretaries of PSRM, Joaquín López and Francisco Lucas Ayala, among others.

During his speech, Mario Cervera said that "the PSOE is a united party, with clear ideas and that has a present and future project that reflects an environment of change necessary in the municipality to transform and return the illusion to the neighbors. "

In this sense, the candidate undertook to continue fighting to provide Los Alcázares with a 24-hour health center, promote the construction of a new public school, include the residents of Los Narejos and Las Lomas del Rame in the management, and improve the public services of the locality.

Mario Cervera also made special emphasis on the importance of taking measures to prevent the damage caused by floods in 2016 from recurring in the municipality. Regarding this same issue, the Government Delegate, Diego Conesa, reminded the Attendees during his speech that, in seven months of socialist government had been unlocked aid intended mainly for the municipality and fix the channel D7, which was seriously affected after the floods of 2016, which had been unable to make the Delegates of the Government of the Popular Party during its two years of Government.

On the other hand, the secretary of Tourism, Isabel Oliver said that, in the National Budgets that have not been approved, two million euros had been included to invest in the promotion of the Mar Menor.

In this same line, the candidate Mario Cervera added that in his program he will work to get the economy and tourism of the municipality reactivated, carrying out measures such as the tax reduction or the increase of investments to break seasonality.

Finally, the candidate ended his speech by reminding the neighbors that "next May 26 is not an opportunity for the PSOE, or Mario Cervera, but it is an opportunity for Los Alcázares."
