The counselor of the Presidency, Pedro Rivera, and the mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida, visited today the works carried out in charge of the Plan of Works and Services of the Autonomous Community, with an investment of 146,000 euros, in the Rambla streets and the Catalans
The purpose is to improve accessibility and safety and offer a solution to the problem presented by the wall that prevented rainwater from flowing into the ravine.
Likewise, they went to Los Narejos, where under the Plan 2018-2019 and with an investment of 505,000 euros, works will be carried out to improve accessibility, landscaping and installation of urban furniture in the avenues of Justo Quesada and Radiobaliza Oscar.
Rivera noted that, with a total investment of 15.5 million, "the Works and Services Plan 2018-2019 includes 91 actions in 41 municipalities that will allow the reform of streets and sidewalks, provide new asphalt to the main roads and have new lighting or improve parks and gardens, thus achieving, through effective cooperation between administrations, a significant improvement in the quality of life of the residents. "
The councilor recalled that, in addition, in 2016 and 2017, this formula of collaboration of the regional government with municipalities "allowed to reduce the deficit in infrastructure and basic facilities of the municipalities and financed 131 works, with an investment of 12, 8 million euros, of which 11 million were contributed by the Community ".
