Connect with your child, disconnect with your mobile phone (24/10/2018)

The mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida has presented today the campaign "Connect with your child, disconnect with mobile" in which all the councils of the City Council of Los Alcázares and aims to reduce the use of mobile both in children and in adults and teach traditional games to the little ones.

The rope, the elastic or the tops will stop being games of before to become the perfect plan of the Saturdays.

The campaign will begin next Saturday with elastic workshops, tops, checkers, hopscotch, ping-pong, three in a row and afterwards, participants will enjoy a healthy lunch.

It will take place on the Red Course from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

These workshops will be developed two Saturdays a month, without fixed location, since depending on the activity will be held in squares or municipal facilities, alternating Los Alcázares with Los Narejos.

The next workshop will take place on November 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the old Skatepark Track. On this occasion, children will be able to play relays, trolleys, churro, scrambled shoes, pairs races and a pictogram. among others.

The November activities will end on the 24th with a workshop of table games, karaoke and a healthy snack.

This activity will be at the Espacio Joven La Torre from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The mayor of Los Alcázares explained that "the only requirement to carry out these activities is for parents not to carry their cell phones and to participate with their children.New technologies are very useful but in excess, like everything else, they become a problem" he asserted.

Finally he wanted to thank the support of the AMPAS of all schools in the municipality, which have helped the planning and development of the project.
