The mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida, the councilman of Urbanism, Francisco Montesinos and the councilors of Youth and Commerce, Nicolás Ruiz and Francisco Méndez, today presented the remodeling works of the Plaza del Aljibe Colorao that are scheduled to begin the next week.
For this square, the Consistory will invest 50,000 euros in the paving and conditioning works of the same.
The Plaza del Aljibe Colorao has an area of ​​1442.39 square meters in which various works will be carried out, such as the elimination of 15 existing tree units on the steel, since there is no possibility of maintaining them due to their excessive root growth, replacement and replacement of pavements, an accessible route on the three viles that surround the square and finally, the installation of urban furniture;
benches, litter bins and bike stands.
In addition, the repainting and closing of the Aljibe, the painting of lampposts, will be carried out.
The mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida has announced that this is the first of the ten squares that will be remodeled in the municipality "before the end of the year we will have three places finished and by 2019, the remaining sieites".
