López Pagán demands that the regional government fulfill its commitments with Los Alcázares and start the emergencies during the 24 hours (06/08/2018)

The spokesman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group has met with the municipal spokesman of the PSOE, Mario Cervera, and have demanded that the Government of López Miras meet the needs of coastal municipalities in health or tourism and do not just take photos

The spokesman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group Joaquin Lopez Pagan has denounced the lies of the regional government of the PP, "who was in Los Alcázares to hold a Governing Council to take only a photo, as they promised a number of issues that have not been met.

The socialist spokesman has held a meeting with the general secretary and municipal spokesman of the PSOE of Los Alcázares, Mario Cervera, to address the main problems affecting the coastal municipality, which these days has a large influx of visitors and, therefore, the services are duplicated.

López Pagán and Mario Cervera have talked mainly about the two most urgent issues at this moment: transportation to Los Arcos Hospital, essential for many elderly people, who have to depend on someone to take them or spend more than 20 euros to go to a medical consultation, and the start-up of the health center for 24 hours.

In the case of the health center, the socialist spokesman recalled that this claim was approved in the Assembly, "because it is justice and because it is the only municipality of the Mar Menor that does not have a health center open 24 hours."

Joaquín López criticized that the Government of López Miras does not govern and is only concerned about external issues and does not realize the needs of the residents of Los Alcázares.

"We demand that you treat the citizens of the Region with respect and comply with their obligations as a government and not continue to punish the coastal municipalities."

For his part, Mario Cervera, spokesman of the PSOE Los Alcázares, has demanded that the municipal and regional government, both of the Popular Party, "stop dizzy partridge and start both services, since they are essential for the residents of Los Alcázares "

In the case of the health center, Cervera reproaches the regional government to ignore the 4,000 signatures of residents registered in the Ministry of Health a year ago, as well as the agreement adopted in the Plenary Session of the City Council of Los Alcázares and the autonomous Parliament .

"It is a proposal that we have led from the PSOE because we consider this service essential for Los Alcázares" he explained.

In this sense, López Pagán and Cervera have expressed their "discomfort" about the unequal treatment that residents of Los Alcázares are receiving this summer at the health center, since the displaced have consultations between 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and residents from 8 to 14 hours.

"The only thing we demand is that both the displaced and residents are treated tomorrow and afternoon, to avoid having to move to the nearest municipalities," they say.

Regarding the transport service to Los Arcos Hospital, Mario Cervera said that "the Popular Party after eliminating this regular transport service in 2011, now eight years later, needs to study possible formulas, when it should restore service immediately."

For the PSOE none of these claims is a whim, but an urgent need that deserves an immediate solution.

"The visit of the regional executive has only served to sell smoke once more in the municipality, we have not seen the mayor or his municipal government publicly claim that this mandate is fulfilled." Far from that, it seems that the Government of Anastasio Bastida agree to this unfair and discriminatory treatment of the regional government ", concludes Mario Cervera.
