The mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida, the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Miriam Guardiola and the Councilor for Culture, Isabel Sarmiento, wanted to approach this morning to the inauguration of the III Book Fair held in Los Alcázares at the initiative of The Los Alcázares Ecocultural Association and Press Workshop and with the collaboration of the City Council of Los Alcázares.
Today, Paseo Carrión is the stage where readers and book lovers can enjoy a unique book fair.
In it, more than sixty authors are participating, who are signing their works.
Also present are the Murcia Book, Dokusou and Pluma Verde publishing houses, together with representatives of the literary collectives Palin, Association of Writers of Alicante and Literania, as well as the magazine 'El vuelo del Flamenco', which offer the number two of this publication.
The fair, with musical performances by María Mulero and Joaquín Talismán, the storyteller by Olga Solera and the literary games by Álavaro Perdigón, will continue until 9:00 p.m.
The mayor explained that "for us it is a pleasure to host this fair with so many writers, because they help us to promote culture and are doing a great job" he explained.
For its part, the Minister of Culture, Miriam Guardiola stressed that "the Mar Menor is becoming a cultural reference with this type of activities that encourage reading and bet on the Murcian talent."
