With the arrival of the month of July, the level of High Hazard in the Copla Plan is activated and the seven aid stations located along the entire Alcazare coast have been activated.

The mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida and the councilman of Interior and Civil Protection, Nicolas Ruiz, today welcomed 25 rescuers who during the summer will be watching over the safety of bathers in Los Alcázares.

The aquatic lifeguards belonging to the Emergency and Civil Protection Service of Los Alcázares will be in charge of operating in the seven aid posts that are located on all the beaches of the municipality.

All posts offer accessibility service on beaches with amphibious chairs for bathing assistance to people with motor limitation and also have a rescue watercraft and a Maritime Rescue boat with their skippers and rescuers.

In the summer months, an EMU 061 is also activated with a doctor and nursing staff and an ambulance for Basic Vital Support for emergencies with two Emergency Health Technicians.

Every day 2 Coordination Operators in room 112 of the CECOPAL Municipal Coordination Center under the direction and coordination of two service coordinators will be responsible for the safety on the beaches of Los Alcázares.

The mayor of the municipality, Anastasio Bastida explained that "bathers must be safe and have a fast and efficient service for any emergency and that service, given by the great professionals that we have in Los Alcázares" he said.
